Our story
Bella Grande is created by Copenhagen Food Collective
Bella Grande is the second hotel by Copenhagen Food Collective (Cofoco), a Danish hospitality group who also owns Coco Hotel and 18 well known restaurants in Copenhagen - including Donna at Bella Grande.
Since 2004, Cofoco has been instrumental in shaping the culinary landscape of the Danish capital. By seamlessly blending affordability with exceptional food experiences in a way that locals could understand and relate to, the group revolutionised the gastronomic scene in Copenhagen. Due to the overwhelming positive response and loyalty over the years, Cofoco has grown from a single restaurant in 2004, to 18 popular restaurants in Copenhagen today, each with their own unique direction. The restaurants offer a wide variety of gastronomic experiences, taking inspiration from all over the world. Some of them are award-winning, some even Michelin acclaimed, and they all hold in common their dedication to the good meal in all its senses - whether it be the exquisite ingredients, careful preparation of the food, mesmerizing interiors or the welcoming and attentive service.
Since 2018, Cofoco has been self-sufficient with sustainable energy generated by the group's own solar park. Bella Grande is also covered with sustainable energy.

OUR COMMITMENT TO A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
At Bella Grande we believe in and work for a sustainable future. Among other initiatives, we are fueled by sustainable energy sourced from Cofoco’s solar park in Jutland. We also contribute to planting trees in Kenya through our partner Eden Reforestation Projects. Together with our guests we expect to donate more than 5000 trees in 2024.
